After a year of being on the road working and having a boat that just kept breaking down, it is about time to finally get out and start targeting some sturgeon, I picked up a older 1985 115hp Suzuki motor for my old boat and she is almost ready for the test run. as soon as i get the tags on it and get my fishing license I will be taken it out for a test run, targeting sturgeon in the lower Willamette while I am out.
Now this is the time of the year where the Willamette and Multnomah channel are the most productive, mainly due to water temperatures and the wind, once the motor has proven itself and the winds die down i will be moving up to the Bonneville pool and launching out of hood river, got to love that area for great fishing and the people that fish there are so nice.
