I will be making my first sturgeon trip to the Columbia in a few weeks and I am very excited. I have never fished for them over there before so it should be very intresting. I will be going to the bonneville dam area and will be fishing from a boat hopefully. Any tips on where to go exactly and what to use would be greatly apprciated since I am shooting completly in the dark here.

I don't think you are being blown off it just seems to be mostly eastsiders here. Bonneville might not be something they know much about. Ask about McNary, the McNary pool or the Hanford Reach etc and it might be a different story.

Lwagg2 is our big sturgeon guy. Perhaps he will chime in. Most of us are wrapped up in Salmon and Steelhead this time of year.
