I just bought a cataraft from Brian of Greatwhitehunter and I want to say that the exchange was very satisfying. The boat exceeded my expectations and Brian was friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable. He even gave me some free pointers on fly casting right there in his driveway. I got to look at some of his work first-hand and believe me it's second to none in construction. I don't have the experience to speculate on performance, but the quaility and workmanship jumps out immediately, and Brian was very earnest in backing his products with the offer of support and discount accessories in the near future. I hope to provide some feedback on how my new boat performs soon.

Thanks again, Brian.

First let me say that this is a perfect story as to what a fishing site is suppose to bring to the community. I am so happy that you shared your story with us and that a fellow fisherman has been treated so right by another member of the board.
a big FISH ON to both of you and thanks for your continued support of FISHINGNW.COM Very Happy
best of luck with your new boat

I don't have anything close to the nice catarafts that Greatwhitehunter is selling, however, I am getting ready to try my less expensive version out again this year.

Are you guys interested in a 4 - 5 hour float for bass on the Walla Walla River anytime soon? The float starts in Touchet on the Touchet River. The first short stretch of the Touchet River is off limits, but it soon turns into the Walla Walla.

Let me know if you are interested. We are looking at the end of this month depending on weather conditions.

I have a 3 day float planned on the Yak on the 30th/1/2 with a group from NWTrout. If any of you are interested you are more than welcome to join in. Ive never been to Walla Walla or the rivers down that way but I will prolly try them out this summer.

Sounds interesting. 3 days on the Yak? Where do you put in?

The Walla Walla is a short float if you do it in sections. Do it early if you plan on doing it. The flow rate slows way down later in the season.
