The WDFW publishes creel surveys on its website at www.wdfw.wa.gov. It varies a little every year but will give you a fairly good idea.

Just a nitpick but they are actually summer run steelhead. No such thing as winter runs upstream of Bonneville.

oh, i thought the tucannon ran into the snake, and since the snake has been pretty hot on winter run steelhead that the tucannon would be hot as well.

Yea, they are here all winter but are summer run fish. Started coming into the system in big numbers in September.

BTW there should be fish in there now. The Chinook should be out of the lower river so nothing stopping them from moving in. Steelhead don't spawn until spring so lots of them arent in a big hurry to get where they are going..

Glad to help but please so us a huge favor. If you get into the Tuc fish don't spread the fishing report around the internet. Thousands of lurkers chase the hot reports and it is a small river with reasonable (so far) landowners. Too fragile a balance for truck loads of garbage tossing meatheads Smile
