Headed out at 4:30 this morning chasing gators in the gorge just below Bonneville we boat a couple dozen shakers and Sean landed a fat 46, right after getting sea sick when the winds rocked the boat with some nice 2 ft swells. after the winds died back down it was a great day fishing. I hooked into a a oversize but it got back to the bottom and buried it's nose in the rocks i gave it a little slack hoping it would think it was free only it spit the hook and swam off, I was still jazzed to feel the awesome power of the BIG FISH again,
fish checker at the boat launch had checked 18 boats 45 anglers and 37 keepers so yes they are in the gorge and the fishing is great.
