Fishingnw.com Update

We attempted to install a change which would handle the news in a slightly different manner. We had issues with this install and found out it was not compatible.
This caused some problems with posting a reply in the forums. You most likely would have been taken to your "account" area when clicking on reply.
This issue has now been resolved. Post away!

You can syndicate our news

Did you know that you can syndicate our news using our backend news program? Take a look at the bottom of this page. You will see a link called backend.php. This is an RSS headline. Which means you can add our news to some of your other home pages, such as Yahoo.
The link you enter for syndication or RSS Headlines is http://www.fishingnw.com/backend.php.
Clicking on this link outside an RSS reader will only provide you with text.

Fishingnw.com now had over 12 themes to chose from when viewing this page. The default theme (olive) is available to users who are not registered.
If you are a registered member of this website, you may select a new theme by visiting your account. Select the Theme icon and chose you setting. This will change the way your page is displayed.

Server Errors and other issues

It was pointed out by several users that they were seeing errors with the forums, member list, and private messaging. We have had many hackers trying to access this website and cause harm. This activity has caused us some problems. I think that the errors have been corrected. Please email me if you notice any additional errors.

Server upgraded.

We have upgraded the server to php cms v7.0 today. Sorry for the down time. Everything seems to be working correctly at this time. Please let me know if you have any problems.
3/22/2004 It has been discovered that some of the data from the forums is missing. This will be corrected as soon as possible..
3/23/2004 - It appears that the data in the forums from 2/10/04 through 3/19/2004 seems to have deleted itself. I have contacted my server host and am attempting to retrieve that data. If you get the message "No posts exist for this topic", it means that data is missing and fell within this time frame.
3/24/2004 - We did have some data loss from our forums. This was a hard lesson learned. We have now switched to a different backup system.
